Clarifications: 1) Gaelic Football is thought to be at least 700 year's old. The version we play today was first codified in 1887 by the sport's governing body in Ireland, the Gaelic Athletic Association, commonly referred to as 'the GAA.' 2) There are slightly different rules for men and women.
